Five Random Facts

I was born and raised in the cool cool hills of the Mocho mountain in the parish of Clarendon. I migrated to the USA at age 17 then got married in 2016 and moved to Canada where I currently reside with my husband and two children.

01. I Was Born & Raised In Jamaica

Whether I'm dining at a cute café or just having a meal at home, brunch is my favourite time to eat. I imagine the fact that I do not typically eat breakfast also has something to do with it but there’s something about that late-morning, early-afternoon window that just feels right.

02. Brunch Over Lunch

My children and my husband are everything to me. I feel truly blessed to have them in my life, and I love them more than words can express. Each moment that we spend together is a treasured gift, and their presence gives my days purpose and happiness.

03. Family Matters

Listen, if there was ever a "true definition" of a church girl, I would be it. As a child, my grandma's home (where I lived for a large part of my early years) was literally connected to the local Baptist church. My grandma was involved in every department there was at the church and people often referred to me as her handbag.

04. God Over Everything

I have a soft spot for Oreo. It has to be crushed though! Like, don't expect to catch me eating a whole Oreo cookie straight from the package. Crushed Oreos have a soft spot in my heart. If there’s something on the menu with small Oreo bits, you can bet I’m going to have it!
